While reflecting the brutal competition in the modern workplace, it also reveals the complexity of human nature. In the intense work, the three pairs of male and female protagonists have different attitudes towards love and different standards for measuring love and career, highlighting the career and love views of modern urban independent women. This novel uses memories and narrative techniques throughout the text, with a compact plot and relaxed and humorous language. It takes the story between the male and female protagonists Xiao Ran and Shen Luo as the main line, supplemented by the stories of the second and third female protagonists.
