Synopsis
King You of Zhou, Ji Gongyan, imprisoned the loyal minister Bao Jue. Bao Si's son was forced to send the beautiful apprentice he bought to serve Bao Si in the palace under the guise of his sister. Bao Si and Bao Hongde fell in love but did not tell each other. After Bao Si entered the palace, Bao Hongde regretted it endlessly. In order to save Bao Si's life, Bao Hongde drank the poisonous wine containing love poison from Guo Shi's father, and suffered in pain every day. The concubines in the palace could not accommodate Bao Si, and Bao Si was favored in the palace because of his handsome appearance. Bao Si drove away Empress Shen and Prince Ji Yijiu and returned to the State of Shen. Bao Si established her as Empress Bao, and the State of Shen contacted the vassal states and began to rebel. Bao Si went out of the palace several times to have relations with Bao Hongde, and returned to the palace to give birth to her son Ji Bofu, who was established as the prince. During the palace fight, Bo Fu was killed, and Bao Si was disheartened. Bao Si tried to persuade Bao Jue to rebel, but the loyal ministers would not agree, and they had a change of heart towards Bao Si, thinking that she was a beauty. After leaving the palace, his friends became jealous and betrayed each other, and his masters killed each other. After entering the palace, the former court advised him to execute himself, and the harem was not peaceful for a day. Bao Si could not express his love for Bao Hongde, but he had to work with people he didn't like every day. From then on, he frowned, said nothing, and pouted every day and night. Bao Si left the palace and wanted to commit suicide. For the sake of world peace, she finally returned to Haojing under Bao Hongde's persuasion. King You of Zhou smiled for the beautiful woman and began to tell the world: Whoever makes the beautiful woman smile admiringly will be rewarded with a thousand pieces of gold and an official title! All ministers offered suggestions one after another, but failed. The treacherous minister Guo Shifu suggested that in order to defend against the Xirong people, the First Lord had set up twenty beacon towers on Lishan Mountain. If there was any invasion by bandits, they would send out beacon smoke and soar into the sky. It's peaceful today and all the beacon fires are extinguished. Why don't you, Your Majesty, take your Majesty to climb Lishan Mountain and raise the beacon fire? When the princes from all walks of life see the beacon fire and arrive, there will be no invaders. Sure enough, for the first time, the beacon fire played on the princes. The princes looked at each other and were very stupid. Bao Si saw that King You was mediocre to a certain extent and could no longer persuade him. King Wu's century-old foundation was completely destroyed, so he smiled helplessly. Unexpectedly, this smile was so charming that Prince You Ji Gong was overjoyed. Later Baosi became unhappy again. King You Ji Gongyan lit the beacon fire for the second time, smoke was everywhere, and the princes rushed over. It was another joke. After that, the loyal ministers warned: National affairs must not be joked about! King You didn't listen, and the third beacon fire played on the princes, but no princes came again. Finally, Shen Guo contacted the Xirong people and surrounded Haojing. King You sent people to light the beacon fire, but none of the princes came to rescue him, so King You of Zhou became a prisoner. Bao Si took the opportunity to escape, came to Guo Mansion, killed Guo Shifu, and personally avenged her master Bao Hongde. While escaping from the foot of Mount Li, he was shot in the left leg and chest by an arrow from the Xirong Whirling Eagle. When Bao Si was dying, Bao Hongde led the princes to attack the invading army. Bao Si finally died in Bao Hongde's arms, leaving behind his last words: Bring Ji Yijiu back from Shen State. Bao Hongde did as he was told. Ji Yijiu returned and his son inherited his father's throne. He moved east from Haojing and made his capital Luoyi. He established the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and was known as King Ping of Zhou Dynasty in history. Concept: love, history
