The story takes place after the Slam Dunk National Competition. It begins with a summer and describes a young girl who moved to high school. She meets Sendou who has just taken over as the captain of Lingnan Basketball at the beach. She profiles Sendou's life with his interest in fishing, explores Sendou's personality, and imagines the new atmosphere of Kanagawa basketball. It also imagines Sendou's achievements and achievements in the remaining high school career of becoming the captain.
