The seventh ruler of the Ning Dynasty, Emperor Huan, was named Chengming, also known as Emperor Chengming.
In the spring of the 23rd year of Chengming Dynasty, the little scholar and the little knight met. This is where the story begins. In the spring of the twenty-eighth year of Chengming, Emperor Chengming died and the new emperor ascended the throne. This is the end of the story.
The fateful meeting in the story is actually nothing more than "God's will."
This is a story about two children who are pushed into the center of a whirlpool by grudges and power struggles to keep each other warm. Therefore, it contains many reluctances and may be deliberately difficult to resolve.
(As to why the ending point is the death of Emperor Chengming: Of course it is because after the new emperor ascended the throne and changed the Yuan Dynasty, the Chengming year ended)
