Martha had always thought life was wonderful.
She and her husband Thomas are in love, their two children are well-behaved and cute, and Alfred helps to keep the house in order. Although Gotham is still a bit chaotic, with the Wayne family's flourishing career and unremitting efforts, light is gradually beginning to shine in the city.
The future will definitely be better than now, she thought, until gunshots rang out in the dark crime alley and her son fell in a pool of blood.
It also took away her hope.
Martha has changed. Her family members themselves were busy recuperating and acting as vigilantes. When they were discovered, she was teetering on the edge of Gotham's darkest abyss, but no one could bring her back.
God is not so cruel after all.
The moment Martha put on an exaggerated smile and was about to cut the corner of her mouth with a knife, a system crashed into her brain, along with the memories of her previous life.
Martha looked at the animations and movies stored in the system, pointing at the Batman-related series with her fingers, and tears flowed down uncontrollably.
Only Martha can never be a clown, she will disappoint Bruce in other worlds.
But business can't save Gotham, and there will always be clowns in Gotham.
And so Harley Quinn was born.

Clark is a child of the Wayne family, not the Kent family, and there is no more Thomas! Private is one year older than Bruce because Batman was born in a 1939 Detective Comics issue, while Superman was born in 1938 in comics history.
Martha did not travel through time, but was reincarnated through a program. She had seen a DC movie in her previous life, so after vaguely recalling it, she accepted herself well in the movie universe.
The Waynes occasionally show affection, and there may be slight other bl/bg CPs in some aspects. Mainly, we are all brothers/partners/rivals, smile.
It's still a fateful update, the timeline and outline have been eaten up by the author, but I promise not to cheat, thank you all for your support!
