The reason why this piece of jade is called "Qilin Yu" is because there is a beautiful mythical story. Legend has it that there was a goddess who, because she fell in love with a mortal man, left the mortal world privately, abandoned her body that would live as long as heaven, and was willing to become a mortal. Her mount is a unicorn, which also follows her to earth. Unexpectedly, the man was a ruthless and unrighteous person, and in the end he sacrificed the goddess to the then emperor for the sake of glory and wealth. The goddess did not want to be humiliated and committed suicide. Her Qilin also left with her, and shed a drop of blood and tears, turning into "Qilin Yu". When future generations heard this legend, they all wanted to own this jade to fulfill their own selfish wishes.
At the beginning of the story, a girl named Jinyin traveled through time and space and came to another time and space. The place she came to belonged to a country called "Qing". This place is called Xianling. The capital of the Qing Dynasty was "Qingyu".
