Chagannuoer, the white lake. Chagannuoer Lake consists of two lakes, the east and west, separated by a natural sand embankment. According to legend, any soul that has no attachment to the human world will receive an entry order from the East Lake and be reincarnated; while the opposite soul will fall into the West Lake and be crushed by the soul-grinding gravel, either becoming a spirit or a ghost.
