Song Lun felt that nothing good had happened to him since the eighth grade. His mother, who was dependent on him, suddenly became seriously ill. Even though he sold the house and still owed the loan, he still could not afford the huge cost of surgery. The mother and son finally spent the last three years of Mrs. Song's life in a small rental house.
