The Winter Patrol is a penitential festival at the end of the year. People will pray wholeheartedly on this day, go on pilgrimages, and celebrate the coming new year.
One of the major events of the Winter Patrol Festival is for people designated as missionaries by the church to ride on snowmobiles, cross the sky, and deliver gifts to children door to door.
Nahuatz is a temporary part-time patrol envoy. His mission this year is to fly to the distant snow-capped mountains and deliver gifts to the little girl who walked up the snow-capped mountains alone for unknown reasons on the day of the Winter Patrol Festival.
