It was the Warring States Period.
Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo shogunate, and the beings he feared most in his life all had a common surname: Sanada.
Masayuki Sanada has a very different status from Katsuyori, the young master of the Takeda family, but he is the only close friend. Takeda perished in the troubled times, Katsuyori committed suicide to prevent Masayuki and his sons from being harmed, and Masayuki continued to be loyal to the defunct Takeda in his own way.
The Sanada brothers, the son of Masayuki, Yukimura (Nobuhige) is naturally brave, and Nobuyuki (Nobuyuki) is good at strategy. They support each other and complement each other to carry forward Sanada's name in troubled times.
On the eve of the Sekigahara War, Sanada was divided into two, brothers were at war with each other, and father and son turned against each other...
The main volume, "Fire Wind Record", depicts the rise of Sanada Masayuki and the decline of Takeda.
