"Like a Deer Walking in the Sky" describes the spring afternoon when a group of college students went on an internship. The two groups, who were from different parts of the world, had never met each other in their lives. They got to know each other by chance. Guo Peng and Song Yi were attracted to each other because of their similar interests. They developed feelings that were neither visible nor acknowledged. Two lonely creatures were condemned by their own consciences. At the same time, they broke through taboos and fell in love silently, letting time push the two canoes closer and apart; these two lonely creatures went through inner struggles, separation, longing, forced marriage by their families, betrayal by their wives, tyrannical mothers, and even struggled more and more in the mud of love, becoming more and more unable to extricate themselves. They understood themselves more deeply and carried out the process of self-redemption.
