Homosexuality is no longer a taboo topic. The novel runs through love and friendship, telling the protagonist and the people he met in college, those things, and some stories that happened that are either ignorant, ambiguous, comic, or tragic. There are always bitterness and tears in love, sour and sweet. The protagonist goes from an ignorant teenager to the struggle to understand himself, and then to the sudden enlightenment of seeing himself clearly.
