The story begins with a memory...
The protagonist "I" is a young man named Newton. I am a materials science graduate student at the University of Technology in City A. I like rock music and poetry and am the lead guitarist of a third-rate band. I am a lonely and autistic person. Just because of a chance encounter, I met ROSE, a hairdresser in City D, a girl who also likes rock music.
In our only one, short-term contact, I found myself falling in love with ROSE. However, when I came to D city again a few months later, I found that ROSE had disappeared.
I started searching, just like I searched for another missing girl - "Lindy" when I was 18 years old, I started searching for ROSE.
In one year, many people passed by me, and I was surprised to meet "Lindy" who once gave me infinite warmth, and two girls who were destined to be indelible in my life, Orange and Mi Lier.
Of course there are other girls who come and go...
In the story, can the girl named ROSE appear? Is Lindy still the same Lindy I missed when I was 18? How will the fate of Orange, Mi Lier and me change?
The author attempts to use calm words to describe those lonely young individuals in the city surrounded by steel bars and concrete, as well as some faint happiness and sadness related to these lonely individuals.
