There are two bright lines in the story, one is the process of Cen Hui's continuous change of mental state, and the other is the process of the Liu family's gradual decline. On the basis of these two clues, all the heroine's encounters along the way are unfolded in detail. There is also a hidden line, which is obviously the Shu Garden that the title refers to. Shuyuan is the place where the heroine commits herself to Liu Sangong, and the changes in Shuyuan also imply the transformation of the Liu family from prosperity to decline.
