Butterfly Toharu is the brother of Kanae and Shinobu. He stood in front of the Butterfly sisters when their parents were killed by ghosts. Later, the three of them were rescued by the mournful Yu Yumei who arrived.
But because his lungs had been stabbed by a ghost, he was unable to practice breathing techniques and focused on treatment in Butterfly House.
