People return to the Yang world while alive, and return to the underworld after death.
After walking through the Huangquan Road and crossing the Wangchuan River, only half of the memory of my life is left. Then I go to the Wangxiang Terrace and ask for a bowl of Meng Po's soup. After drinking the soup, all the past events will be forgotten, and then I can happily reincarnate.
But there are also some people who have obsessions during their lifetimes, so the underworld and forgetfulness are of no use to them. If they want to forget their past, they have to drink one more bowl of Mengpo soup.
There is a rule in the underworld that one ghost is only allowed one bowl of soup. But only Po Meng can make this soup. If she wants to give more, even Yinsi will have no choice but to let her go.
Po Meng loved to listen to stories. If a ghost was willing to tell her a story about his life, she would be moved and would wave her delicate hand and be willing to give that person an extra bowl of soup.
