In the late 1960s, a group of enthusiastic young intellectuals came to the Shandong Northern Production and Construction Corps and began their youthful experiences. After the passion burned, the real life that followed entangled their love and hatred. They play with their youth, throw away cheap passion, and play roles in life that are not their own. After too much unnecessary effort, time has abandoned youth in that vast land. After returning to the city, I tried to find myself, my life role and social position that should belong to me. However, what faced them was no longer the sunshine when they set off. Extravagant hopes have been extinguished, and love has aged. Apart from the pain, there is nothing I can do. Although late love can give them some comfort, the scars of time are embedded in their skin and grow into pain that can never be erased in their lives. Youth is gone and years have passed. Who should they ask for their youth? To whom should they appeal their remorse? Who destroyed them? Let's light a stick of incense and sacrifice our youth that we can't bear to look back on!
Intention: Reflection on life itself
