Zhang Xinjie
"Jingmo."
She looked back.
Zhang Xinjie stood at the crossroads of the street opposite where they had just parted. The flashing green light on the sidewalk turned red. Vehicles shuttled between them. The air flow caused by it raised the broken hair that fell on her ears, and she finally calmed down.
Twilight is soft.
She saw him smile slightly and said, "Goodbye."
Later, Xu Jingmo would always think of that dusk from time to time.
——It would have been better if she had said something to him.
