Akxun was born in the late Mergen Dynasty to a moderately wealthy family in Baihu Palace. As a young boy, he was successfully admitted to the Royal Academy and converted to the state religion according to the traditional rituals of the time. But he did not marry a well-matched woman as his parents planned, nor did he enter the imperial bureaucracy. Instead, he chose a path that no one around him could understand - joining the revolution. He prospered during the Revolutionary War and became a hero in the First Civil War. However, the democratically elected regime established after the revolution had an unstable foundation and was never able to gain the support of strong social forces. It had to compromise with the scholar-bureaucrat group who was always trying to restore the empire. With the help of the samurai class of the declining empire, akxun took advantage of the rise of riots dissatisfied with the weak democratically elected government and launched the second civil war, successfully overthrowing the democratically elected regime. At the entrance ceremony as his troops marched into the capital, the people cheered and flowers bloomed. The citizens of the capital welcomed the arrival of the savior with the highest respect. Amidst the cheers and shouts, akxun showed a weird smile. In the years that followed, he destroyed religion, suppressed dissenters, eliminated opposition, invaded weak ethnic groups, and exported violent revolutions to surrounding countries, becoming a dictator even more brutal than the emperors of the imperial era. After ruling for a full generation, he died before he could determine his successor. After his death, the authoritarian republic he established through violent revolution once again fell into turmoil and division, and eventually collapsed.
