"Xia Yan" is an autobiographical novel, with the story background from the 1980s to the present day. It starts from the protagonist Xia Yan's childhood and grows up along the way, accompanied by worldly experiences, encounters and emotional life.
I like Xia Yan's character. She is tenacious, independent, and self-reliant. She does not bow down to wealth and power, nor does she belittle herself because of poverty and hardship. No matter when and where, these character traits can always be seen in her body, which is the charm of her personality. I also envy some parts of Fang Qi's personality, she is innocent and carefree, like a child who will never grow up. If a person really can only spend his life in "innocence", it is actually not a bad thing.
Due to the large time span of "Xia Yan", I have vague memories of some of the scenes involved in the book. After the first draft was completed, I got involved and verified it one by one. However, there will still be some discrepancies. Readers and friends are welcome to criticize and correct me.
Intention: Perseverance, independence, self-improvement, not to bow down to wealth and power, nor to belittle oneself because of poverty and hardship.
