"Sifan" is a part of the traditional Kunqu opera "Nie Hai Ji". It tells the story of the lonely life of a young nun who couldn't endure chanting sutras and worshiping Buddha, and stole out of the mountain. This article is a derivation and imagination of the story behind "Sifan". This article is not original, but is based on a small theater I saw on the eve of graduation. I was deeply shocked when I watched it at the time, so I wrote a novel to express my feelings.
