Counting on the fingers, it's my thirtieth birthday this year. If I'm not married, or if I never get married, I can still have a birthday party. After all, there are so many gifts (actually it's not too much, there are always 10,000 and eighty thousand).
I stopped what I was doing (painting water pipes, I was not very skilled yet), and started the big blind date business - looking for a rich and handsome man (actually I couldn't find him). Although I couldn't find him, I couldn't give up hope. The blind date still had to go on, otherwise I would have to celebrate my thirtieth birthday.
I dug out my WeChat friends, first excluding those of the same sex, then relatives, colleagues, married ones, and then those who were not interested in me (I still have some self-knowledge), and there were still a few left. Fortunately, there were still - from the painstaking efforts of many years of blind dating. My eyes lit up and I saw a young man (I had never seen him before), but his profile picture was very handsome (it looked like him at first glance), he was also very cute, and his name was actually the same as my pet cat's name, Da Mi (why do handsome guys always have the same online name as my pet)? There was a blush on his ugly face - it was him.
I opened his WeChat chat interface and started the opening line I learned somewhere (maybe it was improvised on my own, or maybe it was the best summary derived from my many years of blind date experience): Handsome guy: Hello, your online name is the same as my cat, what a fate.
"Hello, my lord" (better than me)
"It's my honor to meet you" (this is the best sentence summarizing many years of blind dates), I continued: "I wonder if Da Mi has any plans for this afternoon?"
Concept: Love is beautiful, so is ambiguity. I can live without a partner, but I cannot live without hope.
