Hello everyone! A Dream of Red Mansions is a work that I have read more than a dozen times, and I have always felt that its sequels are imperfect. There are many sequels to the wonderful book Dream of Red Mansions, and the one I uploaded today is a sequel to Red Mansions that misinterprets the original meaning of Mr. Cheng Weiyuan and Mr. Gao E. (Haha) The novel published this time is Tian Shengsheng's revised version based on Cheng Gao's sequel (comparing all the sequels to Dream of Red Mansions, I have to admit that Cheng Gao's version is still the most readable). The version I have produced now has greatly deleted the fortune telling, sermons, strange powers, etc. In the original work, and adjusted it The order of the article (for example, the death of Yuanchun and Xue Pan's troubles in the original work were placed after Baoyu's marriage, and the house raiding in the middle part of the original work was placed at the end), some plots were changed (such as changing Xia Jingui Yao Xiangling to Xia Jingui Yao Baochan), and a few self-created plots were added (Baoyu's death, Baochai's death, Baoyu Daiyu's interaction, etc.). Most of this article is the adjustment and deletion of Cheng Gao's original text (editing what can be changed, deleting what cannot be changed), with reference to some other sequels to Red Mansions (such as "A Dream of Red Mansions Supplement", "A Dream of Red Mansions", etc.). I only ventured to add a few sentences if I really couldn't change it (my brain exploded when I was doing it), trying to present a different ending than the original Lan Gui Qifang (what I thought). It was written entirely by hand and did not plagiarize other existing sequels that have copyright disputes (the authors of the sequels referred to have passed away and the copyrights have entered the public domain). It tried its best to avoid the plot arrangement of the 1987 version of the TV series (it is not bad, but I don't want to use the ready-made, so the order of many plots is different.) Starting from the second chapter, it will be updated on time at 8 o'clock every night. From time to time, corrections will be made to correct the original errors and omissions. (Li Wan's ending was added on October 9, 2019, and Shi Xiangyun's ending is yet to be written). Friends who love Hongxue are welcome to discuss. Those who like to argue and accuse plagiarism should go out and turn left (I am not asking for fame in writing this article, just to be in a good mood). Those who like to see Brother Bao and Sister Lin finally get married should also consider whether to read it (both of them are dead, it is not a sweet article). Thank you for your cooperation and I wish you all a happy reading.
Purpose: Deconstruction and reconstruction of narratives in Cheng Gao's original and other sequels
