Chapter 1 Ye Hua
Holding the book in his hand and leaning in front of the lamp, a dark shadow suddenly flashed across his face.
Beside the carved window, a figure in black sat quietly. What caught his eye was a head of long light purple hair, hanging down smoothly to her waist. Against the moonlight, she only felt elegant. The mottled tree shadows were imprinted on the face, and it was as if the facial features were unclear due to the fog, but the dove-gray eyes revealed a gaze that seemed to be both compassion and warmth.
"It's late at night and the fog is heavy. Why don't you go inside and have a chat?" I heard my always cold voice issuing an invitation.
Without any movement, the visitor had landed in the room and sat down on the wicker chair opposite.
"Excuse me, Ye Hua." The expected soft and hazy voice like moonlight said.
"It's a very suitable name for you." I continued to bury my head in the book in my hand.
