Zhu Bao was born in a small Taoist temple. She was dull and taciturn. Apart from doing chores, she could hide in the house and read Jian Ce all day long. Xie Dao is much younger than Zhu Bao and is the son of Zhu Bao's stepfather. He has a sister who is related to him by blood and a childhood sweetheart, but he prefers to keep the hated Zhu Bao in his heart.
