The stone stele remains standing and has stood in the center of Foshan since the beginning of the Mianyuan Dynasty. The Buddha statue behind the stele was built by Emperor Shengde Gu Mianzhu at the beginning of the Mianyuan Dynasty to commemorate the founding of the dynasty.
The stone tablet is opened once every hundred years to pass judgment on a certain person. Anyone whose strength is weaker than that of the stone tablet will be sentenced to death according to the content of the stone tablet. In the past thousand and two hundred years, not one of the twelve people has survived.
