In fact, when I first wanted to write this story, it wasn't because the story had a lot of profound meaning. I simply wanted to write about the sky and the forest, and these two are relatively macro and abstract, so I wanted to use two teenagers to symbolize them. The name is also very nice, so I feel like I will like it very much.
But in the process of writing, I had a lot of emotions, and I felt that I liked this story even more. About friendship, about loneliness, and even about the eradication of time... I thought about it all while writing.
The original ending is this:
Thousands of years later, Ze began to weave beautiful dreams with clouds in the sky again. Occasionally he felt lonely, and occasionally felt a little sad, but it seemed that he could not remember anything that had happened in the past.
It turns out that time can really heal everything. The wound that once dripped blood will slowly heal under the care of time, and the painful wound will gradually turn into a small scar that is not painful or itchy.
Then you will slowly forget everything in the past! The clouds were calm and the wind was gentle, as if nothing had happened.
Although I know that the world is a bit cold, I don't want the ending of the story I write to be cold. I still prefer a happy ending. Although it is a bit ridiculous to resurrect Mori, it is also wonderful to have him exist in another form.
Maybe my writing is not good enough, but I still like this story very much. I hope you like it. I hope every friendship can last forever!
Intention: A small but precious friendship in the vast empty world
