Lop Nur was not a desert before. It once had water, flowers, and picturesque scenery. With the dramatic increase in industrial water use, Fairy Lake has turned into a desert. I am just the most ordinary crane in Lop Nur. I have no chance to witness its prosperity, but only experience its sorrow.
