This is a story adapted from a 24-episode TV series script "Meet Maple Leaf Red".
Xin Dier and Liu Junhao are lovers and work at the Shanghai branch of a Canadian-funded environmental technology company. Xin Dier is the assistant to the general manager, and Liu Junhao is the engineer of the Engineering Technology Department. A year ago, Liu Junhao was sent to the head office in Vancouver for a year of training, but when the training was about to expire, he "disappeared" during a mountain climbing exercise. Xin Dier decided to go to Canada in person to find Liu Junhao.

Through the ups and downs of the plot and the stories between Liu Junhao, Xin Dier, Li Xunhan, Hu Yang, and Westerners Charlotte and Mike, this drama introduces the picturesque natural scenery of the two western provinces of Canada and the cultural differences between China and Canada to the Chinese TV audience.
