After reading Banana Fish, I really wanted to write a story. I didn't want Ash to die like this, but after I started it, I found that I couldn't write it anyway, because for Ash who has been hurt so much, death with a sweet dream is the best ending. This is the best for him.
But I still don't want him to die.
The first time I heard about the work Banana Fish was after watching Future City No. 6. I heard that the mouse in the teacher's work was a tribute to Ash. I personally thought that the reason why Future City is a fairy tale was because the teacher couldn't bear to see Ash die.
So I still filled this in. The perspective is that of Haru Iwai, the protagonist of another fan work of mine (Tutoring + Fate Redemption), who was saved by gentle people. Such a person would definitely not let Ash give up his life and die.

But even in these short three years, Eiji doesn't know how he spent it. I think Ash was too cruel to Eiji because he failed to recognize Eiji in time. I couldn't stop crying when I saw the Garden of Light in the manga. How could Ash have the heart to leave and leave Eiji alone!
