He has known since he was a child that some people can push others to hell for their own benefit. They turn others into monsters for their own sake, and then tell onlookers how terrifying those monsters are. He wanted to pull those people down and stomp them into hell. So he has to guard the wall, the people fighting with him in the wall, and the person who regards him as his own life.
