In the name of the stars, you light up my originally bleak life.
You took the morning star as your sign and warmed my originally cold soul.
Maybe I never understood your timidity, but I can be your safe haven.
Maybe I never understand your darkness, but I can be the sunshine in your heart.
Those years of youthful love;
Those stupid love words and crappy kisses;
Those conversations under the starry sky, walks by the lake, and holding hands under the sunset,
These are the traces we leave on each other's hearts.
Time goes by and things change——
never changes,
it's you,
it's me,
The one that will forever be etched in our memory:
The Year of the Star.

This collection will include some stories about Dog and Wolf's boyhood, all presented in the form of short stories/novels.
I have always had a vague outline of their teenage years in my mind, but I did not have the time and energy to create a complete 9 years, so I can only present some fragments that are swirling in my mind, hoping to shape the teenage dogs and wolves in my mind, their emotional journey, their growth and transformation, their misunderstandings, disputes and tolerance, understanding, and finally, but not a lifetime of regrets.
Because in the Crossroads series, the characters of the middle-aged dogs and wolves are relatively perfect, but I want to express that they are not born this way, but influence each other and have experienced great changes.
The brightest and cheerful side of Xiaotian's character does come from James, but no one except Remus can understand the darkness engraved in his bones, and no one can effectively enlighten him in his youth; similarly, for Remus, his humor and optimism are probably shaped by the environment of Gryffindor and Marauders, but his inferiority and vulnerability are not something ordinary people can notice. Only Xiaotian understands him and actively guides him out of his inferiority complex.
So they are each other's angels. Their relationship has withstood the baptism of wind and rain prematurely, experienced the deepest misunderstandings and the most terrible hurts, and then reached a spiritual compatibility. At the age when they should have been quarreling every day and getting divorced, they have been living a sweet little life!
