Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, people in Yiwu have been making a living by exchanging chicken feathers for sugar. They shake rattles in their hands, carry peddlers' poles on their shoulders, and sing: Chicken, duck, and goose feathers are mixed with needles and sugar, and they wander among thousands of villages. After liberation, in the special historical period when ideology took the lead, it was regarded as a speculative activity and was suppressed. The Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent a spring breeze to Yiwu people for their persistence and brought about a turning point. Coupled with the openness, tolerance and courage of parents and officials to take on responsibilities, the long-term mass business vitality finally erupted like a volcano.
After nearly half a century of unremitting struggle and hard work, a large-scale, prosperous and prosperous world capital of small commodities has emerged in Yiwu.
Finally, Yiwu's chicken feathers flew into the sky - the China-Europe special train traversed the two continents of Asia and Europe, and high-quality and low-priced small commodities traveled across the ocean to benefit five continents.
