This film provides an in-depth description of the life of contemporary new immigrants/international students in the United States, and truly reflects the sorrow and joy of Chinese immigrants in the United States as well as the troubles and frustrations caused by cultural differences. This article revolves around the stories that happened to these four girls, fully describing the experiences of the Chinese who came to live in the United States through different channels and for different purposes. It tells the new immigrants' interpretation of friendship, love, and family affection, as well as the conflicts and contradictions caused by the collision of Eastern and Western cultures.
