"The wind and sand in the desert will never stop. When you find that the wind stops, the person you are waiting for will come. Not by himself, but by you. When you wait for someone, his heart will never leave."

The man was still sitting at the door of the inn, his thin back seemed to blend into the desert.
I looked at his back for a long, long time.
The string of copper bells hanging not far away kept ringing, and the long lamp in the inn kept swaying.
I suddenly thought of that person. Maybe one day many years ago, he was like me, sitting here and watching him quietly.

PS: ① It was once called "The Lonely Lamp in the Desert" and the ending was BE, paying tribute to the movie "Ashes of Time".
②This is one of my favorite stories. I wrote a related script about five years ago, and I finally got around to writing it into a novel recently.
