Content introduction:
I would like to dedicate this article to the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Nanjing (1949-2009)!
What is history? Some people say that history is an objective fact that cannot be restored. There is only one truth. There may have been you, me, or his incarnation in history, or you, me, or his ancestors. They may have drank together, recited poems, and played Go. One of them even served as emperor, and the other two were left ministers and right ministers, ruling the world for one or even several generations. Some people may say that logically this principle cannot be deduced at all, but it is precisely because it cannot be deduced that this hypothesis and story are possible.
However, history is written by people, and those who write history are also affected by various factors. When official history is written, it is generally from the standpoint of the ruler, with the purpose of safeguarding the interests of the ruler, and praising him; while the opposite is true among the people. Occasionally, the official will admit some unfavorable historical facts, but in the eyes of the people, they have been greatly discounted, or they are not the case at all. Of course, history is often distorted and fabricated. However, we cannot avoid learning and researching history because of this. This is the reason why I wrote this article.
Since its inception, history has been gestating for countless years. On the vast land of China, a famous city-Nanjing was finally born.
