The meandering course of the Nile often corresponds to the twists and turns in the lives of the ancient Egyptian royal family. Princess Ankarsunam of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt went from being attached to her father, King Ankhnaton, and her mother, Nefertiti, to becoming the princess of Tutankhamen, and then to becoming the king on her own, becoming the last pharaoh of the Amarna Dynasty. Egyptian scholars are more willing to assign Anakashunam the identity of "Princess Tutankhamun", thus making her an accessory of the Pharaoh in history. But what these scholars often ignore is the beauty she inherited from her mother, her tortuous life, and her many years of ups and downs in the Egyptian palace. Two parallel story lines reproduce a distant memory and those elusive emotions. Can the intertwining of past and present lives, and the promise that lasts for thousands of years, have a result today?
