Zhou Mingyang has been able to see monsters since he was a child. He has been a bit unlucky. Not only did he almost get sucked into a vending machine, but he is also always possessed by strange things.
He is both socially terrified and face-blind, and cannot distinguish between humans and monsters. For example, when he met Shen Kong for the first time, Zhou Mingyang regarded him as a monster and almost scratched his face.
However, Shen Kong was not only not angry, but also carried the concussed man into the ambulance.
Shen Kong pulled him out of the mire time and time again, isolating him from the lingering malice.
This man, accompanied by giant beasts, holding a long knife, landed in front of him coldly, and the wildfire in Zhou Mingyang's chest that was about to burn into the world was extinguished.
He was greedy for that bit of pity and longed for that bit of plainness. Just looking at her couldn't satisfy him anymore. He wanted to keep Shen Kong completely in this world.

In fact, this is a novel I wrote half way through when I was in high school, and I still have the draft. I was crazy about anime at that time, and there are many parts of it that bear the shadow of Japanese comics. It's a pity to just let it go with the wind, so I turned it into a full-length novel.
Things to note:
1. Completely modern fiction, the protagonist can see monsters, this is really an old setting...
2. Monster system: flying spirits - monsters - gods, obstacles are not monsters
3. Adjuster: There is only one monster administrator in the human world at a time. Most of them are monsters, and occasionally they are humans.
4. This article is pure nonsense, stick to it unwaveringly
5. Newcomers on the road, be careful of the candle
Concept: species diversity
