When I decided to write it in the third person, I thought I was crazy. Before this, I had never written a third-person novel of more than a thousand words, but I had written miniatures.

So one month before the academic exam, I opened "Preference" and "The Pianist", but after writing the beginning, I didn't continue writing. After taking the exam, I reorganized my thoughts and decided to combine the two books into one, and thus "Wings of Dreams" was created.

My own campus story, until I came up with the name "Zhou Chen". Yes, a male protagonist who has no prototype in reality. This is a challenge I set for myself.
The thing I want to bring to the table the most is "Zhang Yicheng". In the book, he is a "smiling tiger", at least for now. I am not sure how to write it in the future. I just want to establish an image that is enough to calm "Gu Yanzi". He is undoubtedly the best character. The inspiration for this character came from my misunderstanding of him in the first half of the semester. Although "Zhang Yicheng" does not match Brother Yuan to a large extent, he is still a microcosm, a mirror, and he is seen from the perspective of "Gu Yanzi" rather than Xu Jiaqian. Of course, I am still very careful in shaping the image. After all, Jiaping is also a reader of my novels, and when he read "Preferred" before, he was very dissatisfied with his own character [pfft].
This may be a turnaround for the bad name. The design of the character's name this time is really not something the Internet shook up. Except for Teacher Zhang's name [it sounds so nice, I don't want to change it], I have carefully considered it. Gu Yanzi is my own character. It is the version of myself I have been designing since I was a child, so I moved it here.
"Wings of Dreams" is a campus novel with the theme of dreams. It can be said to be my debut novel in many aspects. It is completely different from "Jing'an Temple", and the emotions to be expressed in "Wings of Dreams" will be much richer.
