In 2002, my grandfather and I returned to my hometown and met my grandfather's younger brother and fourth uncle. I also felt a little emotional when I saw several old people of similar ages sitting together and reminiscing about the past. In front of the train home again, I can't forget the moist eyes and slightly desolate back of my second grandpa (grandpa's younger brother)~~~
My second grandpa passed away the next year. My grandpa, who never cried in front of others even after his grandma passed away, almost burst into tears. I knew he was really in pain. After that, my grandpa kept repeating their stories every day, whether they were happy or sad.
Maybe because of this, I always want to leave a memory for their passing years, so that we can commemorate the love that is plain but real, deep but not heavy, and maybe we will never understand it in our lifetime~~~~
