Some people say that Shanghai is a city full of hope and opportunities.
Some people also say that Shanghai is a place of right and wrong that eats people without spitting out their bones.
But no matter what others say, I still brought my dream to this prosperous magical city where people sing all night long.
Here I have my friends.
Here, I met so many people that I had never thought of, all kinds of people, struggling to make ends meet, wandering around in survival.
I thought that I loved Shanghai, I loved its thousands of lights, I loved its peaceful music, and I loved its endless life.
However, later on, on New Year's Eve of 2018, I stood alone in the most inconspicuous corner of the Bund, far away from the hustle and bustle, and sat down quietly.
I no longer have to worry about making a living. I even have a small home in Shanghai that is a little crowded but still cozy. You can imagine the difficulty.
Although I have rented such a big house before.
Suddenly, I found that because the place where I stayed was too small, I was not in the mood and had no time to experience the true meaning of loneliness.
Now that I have some free time, I suddenly recall the winter of 2013. The weather was still cold and the cold wind was not absent, but it was not what it is now.
Because of you, I have been able to embrace warmth.
