There is a city sinking in the water.
Buried there were my past lives, those illusory love, lingering and lingering memories, all buried under the raging yellow water along with a rainstorm on a sunny day.
I don't know how long the river has been raging, but it finally calmed down. A town gradually formed on the shore, and the port turned into a ferry. There were lanterns, boats, and flower houses. There was an endless stream of people coming and going, but the old city was silent at my feet, silent in the river where the sun had never seen.
I think I must have been a stubborn person during my lifetime, otherwise why would I guard this lonely city and not want to leave, and why would I be obsessed with a person who I knew I couldn't see. He once told me that there is reincarnation in this world. As long as you believe it, we will meet. Now I believe it, but on this bustling water, with all kinds of passers-by, no one has his shadow in their eyes. Those quiet, cold, cold eyes like autumn water are the beginning of my obsession.
