In the winter of Tianyu Taihe's eighth year, it snowed for a whole month, and the prosperous capital city was shrouded in white.
Just after Chen hour, it became dark. The vermilion door of Lane Six is closed tightly, but the lights inside are bright. Four lanterns as small as a table hung on the high roof, illuminating the entire hall as bright as day.
There were large stoves set up around the hall to suppress the chilly air. In the hall, waiters in brightly dressed clothes were walking among the crowd, or leaning against some dignitaries and laughing, making it a scene of luxury and decadence.
