I have always wanted to write an article about the Jiangnan water town, but due to my laziness and fear that my literary talent was not enough, I did not write it. At this stage, I am no longer too busy with work, and I wonder how long it will be until I can explain my dream of Jiangnan if I don't pick up my pen today. I have been procrastinating until the end. I have no energy, interest, and literary talent. It is better to record it now in the form of a running account.
The place I live in Nanjing is the legendary Jinling. It is the provincial capital of Jiangsu and a representative of Jiangnan culture. I envy those children who live and grow up in the south of the Yangtze River. They have a deeper understanding of the south of the Yangtze River. As a child who grew up in the north, I am more able to appreciate the plants, trees, mountains and rivers of the south of the Yangtze River with a beautiful eye. I like the simplicity of white walls and black tiles, and the elegance of small bridges and flowing water. Imagine the girl holding an oil-paper umbrella, Chanjuan. This is the Jiangnan water town that I saw and imagined.
