There is also a master in the township and county, whose name is Li Chun and whose courtesy name is Ziji.
It is said that Li Chun was formerly a high-ranking official in the court. Later, he was ostracized by the court because of his too much glory, so he resigned and came to this county to take care of his old age. Even so, he was only 30 years old and was still far from retirement. Seeing that the emperor could not dissuade him, he had no choice but to let him leave.
Who would have expected that Li Chun would be both a treacherous and cunning man, and the people would be afraid of him. The emperor specially sent his trusted official Zhao Xi to serve as magistrate of the county.
