From then on, people would go to the foot of Luoshan Mountain every winter solstice to offer sacrifices and pray for good weather and abundant harvests in the coming year. Humans and mountain ghosts also seemed to have reached a contract, not to interfere with each other within the boundaries of Luoshan.
