Life is a bitch, but it is worth fighting for.
Depression, also known as depressive disorder, is characterized by significant and persistent low mood and is the main type of mood disorder. Clinically, it can be seen that the depressed mood is not commensurate with the situation. The depressed mood can range from sullenness to grief, low self-esteem and depression, and even pessimism and world-weariness. There may be suicide attempts or behaviors; even stupor occurs; some cases have obvious anxiety and motor agitation; in severe cases, hallucinations, delusions and other psychotic symptoms may occur. Each attack lasts for at least 2 weeks or even several years. Most cases have a tendency of recurring attacks. Most of the attacks can be relieved, and some may have residual symptoms or become chronic.
