Perhaps the inspiration came from the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove or the Seven Sons of Jian'an? Anyway, the protagonist group is composed of seven people. The overhead background will be mixed with poems and descriptions from various dynasties. This is just an imaginary dynasty, so there is no need to verify it.
Anyway, this article doesn't have any spectacular plot, so it probably shouldn't be read as a novel.
