In the third year of Yin 603, the prince forced the palace, and Qi Yi rebelled. Hengzong and the prince were killed in a rebellion, She Liangjun rebelled and surrendered, Qi Yi died, and his eldest son Qi Yan proclaimed himself emperor and was known as Qi Taizu in history.
In the fifty-eighth year of Qi Dynasty, Taizu of Qi passed away and was given the posthumous name Huiwu. He was buried in the imperial mausoleum together with Queen Zhongchun Lin.
