This is a story composed of several encounters and several partings.
When they first met, Kirkland Langstrom was just an ordinary college student, and Eleanor was just a stranger with whom he had a few conversations.
The second time, Kirk, who became a vampire, unconsciously drained Eleanor's blood. When he saw the dead girl lying on the ground, he knew that he owed her a life. This is a sin he can never atone for.
The third time, as Kirk lingered on the edge of the abyss, Eleanor handed him a cup of hot cocoa and told him that besides falling into a true monster, he had another possibility of returning to the light. She shed a ray of sunshine in his dark and cold world. Then she died again.
For the fourth time, Kirk took the initiative to find Eleanor, whose memory had been cleared, and they became good friends. When Kirk realizes that he likes Eleanor, she dies, and Kirk learns a secret about Eleanor that she didn't even know she had.
The fifth time, Kirk chose to guard silently, but Eleanor still couldn't escape death.
The sixth time, when Eleanor was in danger, she met Batman. Maybe this time they can have a real happy ending...
